Short Bio:
Dr. Renee Tucker is a holistic veterinarian, certified in chiropractic and acupuncture and author of the book Where Does My Horse Hurt. After many years of frustration with the lacking of healing techniques out there, her previous experience and degree in bioengineering helped her to develop the Tucker BioKinetic Technique (TBT) to solve horse problems for good. With this revolutionary technique, we can now instantly heal horse issues, injuries, and ailments that were previously only considered 'manageable' or a 'training problem'. Dr. Tucker teaches TBT seminars around the world so we can collectively heal our horses. Discover more at www.TuckerBioKinetic.com.
Official Bio:
Dr. Renee Tucker received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Although she grew up in a Chicago suburb and never owned a horse, this did not stop her from devoting her veterinary practice entirely to horses. Dr. Tucker received her Certification for Animal Chiropractic (CAC) in 1998, and her Acupuncture certification in 2000. Dr. Tucker started her own private practice specializing exclusively in equine acupuncture and chiropractic work in 2000.
"How do things work?" has always been a question that Dr. Tucker has tried to answer. Prior to receiving her veterinary degree, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering. This unique combination of veterinarian and engineer has enabled her to create a special approach for helping owners with their horses.
One question that Dr. Tucker constantly strives to answer is "why". For example:
-
Yes, the horse’s hocks may be sore, but why? (it’s not just overuse)
-
Yes, the horse has a suspensory injury, but why? (it’s not just a random mishap in the pasture)
-
Yes, the horse does not want to canter in one direction, but why? (it’s not just personal preference or lack of practice in that direction)
Over many years, Dr. Tucker developed her own unique alignment technique, Tucker BioKinetic Technique (TBT). TBT uses primary cause analysis to both find and correct the why? Dr. Tucker teaches BioKinetic Technique seminars around the world. Dr. Tucker currently resides with her two boys in Burbank, CA. She enjoys reading, cartoon movies, and dreaming of owning her own doughnut shop. These doughnuts would have protein, be gluten-free, and include other top-secret innovations.
